Part one

Install the Digital67 software

The Digital67 installer supplies the Duo Audio Engine and required App Audio virtual driver from one trusted package.

  1. Download the signed installer

Download Duo Audio only from the official Digital67 product or support page. The release link will be activated after certification.

  2. Verify the publisher

When Windows displays the security prompt, confirm that the signed publisher is Marketing Co-Ordination Australia Pty Ltd before continuing.

  3. Install the Engine and driver

Follow the installer prompts to install the Duo Audio Engine and Digital67 App Audio routing driver. Administrator approval is required for the driver.

  4. Restart if requested

Restart Windows if the installer asks you to so the virtual audio device and services initialise correctly.

Part two

Install the Stream Deck Bridge

  1. Open Elgato Marketplace

Use the official link on the Duo Audio product page to open the Digital67 Bridge listing.

  2. Install the Bridge

Complete the Marketplace installation and allow the Stream Deck application to load the Digital67 actions.

  3. Apply the supplied layout

Load the layout supplied with your Duo Audio edition and choose the layout for your Stream Deck + XL, 15-key Stream Deck or 32-key Stream Deck XL. See the layout guide.

Part three

Route applications into Duo Audio

Audio path: Application → Digital67 App Audio → Duo Audio Engine → independently controlled Speakers, Headphones and REC OUT.
  1. Open Windows Volume Mixer

Open Windows sound settings and select the per-application Volume Mixer.

  2. Select Digital67 App Audio

For each application you want Duo Audio to control, choose Digital67 App Audio as its output device.

  3. Select your physical outputs

In Duo Audio device configuration, select and test the speakers and headphones, then choose Save and Restart Engine. Selecting an application here does not replace routing its audio to Digital67 App Audio in Windows.

Part four

Verify the system

  1. Start the Engine

Open Duo Audio and confirm that the Digital67 App Audio driver and selected physical outputs are available.

  2. Check the Bridge

Confirm that the Duo Engine tile reaches ONLINE. STARTING indicates startup is in progress; OFFLINE means the Bridge is not connected to the Engine.

  3. Play a test source

Play audio from a routed application, adjust its Stream Deck control and confirm the level and selected outputs respond.

  4. Check update status

Confirm the Engine reports its installed version and update state. Initial releases will open the official download page rather than installing updates silently.
