Troubleshooting

Quick checks for the most common setup and control issues.

Duo Audio does not appear in Stream Deck

Restart the Stream Deck application, confirm installation completed successfully and check that your version meets the published requirements.

A level control changes but I cannot hear a difference

Check the selected source and its routing through Digital67 App Audio. Duo Audio controls its mix; its level controls do not necessarily change the Windows master-volume slider.

The Stream Deck display is not updating

Disconnect and reconnect the device, then restart Stream Deck. If the problem continues, restart Windows before reinstalling.

I changed computers

Install Stream Deck and Duo Audio on the new Windows computer, then restore or apply your supported Digital67 layout.

The Duo Engine tile shows OFFLINE

Check that the Duo Audio Engine is installed and running. Start it using the installed shortcut or Duo Engine tile, then wait for ONLINE. If necessary, press and hold the Duo Engine tile to request a restart between sessions.

The tile stays on STARTING

Allow the Engine time to start. If it does not reach ONLINE, check device configuration and confirm the selected devices are connected. Save the configuration and restart the Engine, then recheck the Bridge.

Audio reaches the wrong speakers or headphones

Open device configuration through the Digital67 taskbar icon. Select the intended outputs, use the test buttons, then choose Save and Restart Engine.

Application audio is missing

Confirm that the application is playing, then use Windows Volume Mixer to route its output to Digital67 App Audio. Check the selected application in device configuration. The application selection and Windows audio routing are separate steps.

A microphone or output is missing from the list

Connect the device, choose Refresh Devices, then select it again. Use Windows Sound Settings to check whether Windows recognises and enables the device.

Setup reports that Digital67 applications are using files

Finish recordings and allow Setup to automatically close the listed Digital67 applications before continuing the update.

Where is the taskbar icon?

Check the Windows notification area beside the clock and its overflow. Confirm the Digital67 control application is running. See the taskbar access guide.

CHECK FAILED appears during an update check

The update service could not be reached. Check your internet connection and try again later. A failed update check does not require reinstalling the audio system.
